We will be meeting at the Clock Tower, which is located next to the Meadow Café. Please be aware that spaces are limited.
We will be walking down to one of the wildlife meadows in Central Park for this event, trying to find and identify as many plants and insects as we can. We will have sweep nets for collecting insects in the grass and butterfly nets for catching butterflies to identify. This is a great events for kids and families, and those wanting to practice their identification skills.
No experience is needed to attend, we do recommend you download the iNaturalist or Seek app on your phone ahead of the event, as this is what we will be using to identify the plants and animals we find. Please email with any questions about this.
Children, families, and pets are more than welcome at our events, however, we ask that anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and all dogs must be kept on leads.
