Join the Green Communities team in Central Park for a tree identification session!
We will be meeting at the Clock Tower, which is located next to the Meadow Café. Please be aware that spaces are limited.
We will be walking down the main paths of the park, spotting trees, looking at the leaves, bark, buds to help you identify common trees you might walk past every day.
No experience is needed to attend, this is based at beginners with little knowledge of tree identification and people wanting to learn a few more common tree species. Please get in touch with any questions.
Children, families, and pets are more than welcome at our events, however, we ask that anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and all dogs must be kept on leads.
Cancellation
In the event of a severe weather warning, this event will not go ahead. We will email you at the earliest convenience if the event is cancelled. Please keep an eye on your emails the day before and morning of the event.
Please let us know if you have booked a space but can no longer attend the session so we can fill your space.
Accessibility
We may be walking off of the main paths to wonder into the fields with uneven ground and long grass. If you have limited mobility, are a wheelchair user or have a young child in a pram, please feel free to contact us and we can let you know of any accessibility concerns.
