Green Minds Rewilding Immersive Experience Premiere!

We were delighted to host the premiere of the Green Minds Rewilding Immersive Experience on Earth Day 2023!

On 23rd June, excited community groups and school groups made their way to the Real Ideas Market Hall building for a wild, immersive experience.

The immersive experience was created with Plymouth communites and tells their rewilding stories in their local areas, and how they have been involved in the Green Minds Project. From building leaky dams in rivers to wassailing, pig feeding to seed ball making, the groups have taken so much action for wildlife in their communities. The stars of the show were the Keyham Scouts, the Poole Farm volunteers, The Village Hub in Stoke, and the Montpelier Eco-Warriors.

On Earth Day, over 70 members of these communities came to Market Hall. They got stuck into a Growing With Nature event -hosted by Food Plymouth- and were wowed by a performance from the Plymouth Boat Poets- Shaday and Kane! They then piled into the dome to see themselves and their loved ones on the big screen. There were excited woops and claps as they listened to one another's stories- everyone left the dome with a proud smile.

The Green Minds Rewilding immersive experience has been a team effort between Real Ideas Organisation, Plymouth City Council, Sound View Media, and these wonderful community groups who have been a crucial part of the Green Minds project.
