Messages from Plymouth's Young Nature Heroes
We were amazed by the creativity of children across Plymouth, as they picked up their pens and colouring pencils to spread their messages about nature!
We have been working alongside the University of Plymouth's MA Publishing course to compile an anthology of children's writing and illustrations, all about nature.
Hundreds of children from across the city shared their inspiring words and amazing artwork, all of them with a clear message: to protect the planet that we have and to look after nature.
Schools and individuals sent in their ideas and one of the schools was Marine Academy Plymouth. We were so impressed with all of the work we saw, and we went to Marine Academy Primary to film some of the young eco heroes as they shared their messages about their hopes and fears for the future of the environment. You can watch their incredible videos below.
A big well done to all the children who sent in their creative pieces, and a huge thank you to the University of Plymouth's MA Publishing student, Kayleigh Baker, who compiled their work.
