Wildlife pond in Keyham business park
Our Green Communities team has been working with the Wolseley Trust Gardening Group to create a new pond!
This pond will be great for wildlife and for people around the business park. We planted several aquatic plants like Aponogeton which is a good source of nectar for pollinators, Fibre Optic plants which shelter young froglets, and Equisetum which supports dragonfly nymphs.
Hopefully, this new habitat will attract many different, new visitors! Well done and thank you to the volunteers at the garden project who meet every Tuesday from 1pm-3pm- everyone is welcome.
