Work starts on site for Keyham greenspace improvements!
After lots of consultation and engagement with local community groups, we are excited to say that the improvements to Keyham greenspaces are beginning!
In the coming weeks, work will start on site for the improvements at Alexandra Park, North Down Crescent, and Knowle Avenue. The final designs for these greenspaces can be viewed below, along with some short explainer videos about what improvements you can expect to see on each site.
Over the next few months, you will see more tree planting, wildflower sowing / enhancing wildlife meadows, and bench installation, with opportunities to get involved with these activities at Alexandra Park and North Down Crescent Park. These improvements will mean that these sites will have more blossoming trees and blooming flowers to make them even better for the local community and for the wildlife in these spaces.
Work on these first 3 sites will be happening between autumn 2022 and spring 2023, and next year, we’ll be looking at how to improve Marley Park and Linear Park.
