Join us as we come together to celebrate the creativity of communities across Devonport, Keyham, and Central Park!
This spring, communities across Plymouth have teamed up with local, professional creatives and artists to create blossom-inspired art! We would love for you to join as we celebrate their artwork at Antony House (Ferry Ln, Torpoint PL11 2QA).
From powerful poetry to buzzing bee puppets, nature sculptures to blooming blossom prints, the fruits of their creativity are varied and beautiful! We are celebrating all of their wonderful work through a community tour, which will see their pieces toured throughout the city and in nearby National Trust properties. The creative pieces will be blossoming in Devonport, Keyham, and Central Park, along with Cotehele, Antony, and Saltram. We would love for you to join as we celebrate their artwork!
The creatives who have been working with the communities are poet and performer Liv Torc, local storyteller and puppet maker Samantha Webb, nature artist and illustrator Devon Tipping, and printmaker, Grace Beswick.
As well as the artwork, there will be free nature inspired arts and crafts available, along with the opportunity to learn more about the Green Communities project.
This event is part of, and funded by, the National Trust Festival of Blossom.
