Growing with Nature Networking Event

Do you have an interest in gardening, growing with nature or wilding? If so, then Growing with Nature is your network!
Join us at the Woolwell Centre for an evening of connecting with other community gardeners who share a passion for nature and sustainability. This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to get inspires by the Woolwell in Bloom team who have transformed their estate together with community growing happening all across the estate. Come along and be inspired by other community growers and share tips and skills. As Woolwell is visited by deer - we will be discussing how and what to grow with this challenge!
Food Plymouth, Plymouth City Council, The Data Place and Plymouth Octopus Project are hosting this free networking event for individuals and community groups across Plymouth.
This is another opportunity to learn about projects across Plymouth as we network, share skills and support each other to grow with nature.
When and where?
This event will take place in Woolwell. We will gathering at the Woolwell Centre for refreshments before exploring the estate.
Join us from 4:30pm for networking, with the official start at 5pm. The event will end by 7:30pm, with optional networking until 8pm. Feel free to drop-in whenever you are able to come along, and stay as long or as little as you like.
What's happening?
- The Woolwell in Bloom volunteers will give us a tour around the estate
- Refreshments in the Woolwell Centre
- Share updates, asks and offers, on your growing & rewilding projects
- See and add your project to the Growing with Nature map on line
- Share inspirational autumn snacks and recipes
- Seed, seedling and Plant swap (please bring your spares along!)
What to bring?
Refreshments will be provided, but if you're a keen grower please do bring some home grown snacks to share like salad, fruit leathers and chutneys. Remember to bring along any plants that you would like to swap too!
Most areas are accessible. Please come with suitable clothing for the weather.

Travel - check before travelling as there are roadworks starting soon along the Tavistock road. Leave extra time to get there. We will add more details including bus details here.
