A morning in Central Park, Plymouth, learning about the precious insects that live in our urban green spaces.

Join us to find out more about the amazing insects that live all around us but often go unnoticed. We will search for the minibeasts such as butterflies, bees and beetles that live in the park and learn how to identify them and discover more about their lives. Expert entomologist and naturalist John Walters will be on hand to help you see Central Park in a totally different way.

You must book your place so we know you are coming. All welcome, no prior knowledge is needed. No dogs please.

Meeting point: Central Park, near the clocktower and by the Meadow Café, Mayflower Dr, Plymouth PL2 3DG, Plymouth. Arrive just before 10am.

Parking is available close by at Milehouse Park and Ride, Outland Road, PL2 3DE.

If you can’t make it, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite to allow others to book. On the day, any problems, contact Helen by emailing hparr@devonwildlifetrust.org or texting/calling 07572 687657.
