Spark Sessions - Love Lichens Workshop

Join us at Poole Farm's Lookout for a Lichen workshop, with talk from April Windle Lichen expert, as well as a guided woodland walk to help find and log the amazing lichens we have on site.

If you want to find out more about lichens, come along for this free talk and get closer to nature!

Please arrive from 12:45 to give us time to sign everyone in and assemble in The Lookout for the talk start time of 13:00.

Please wear appropriate footwear, wellies or walking boots as the walk to The Lookout can be quite muddy after rain. Remember to wear lots of layers and bring along waterproofs, and a water bottle.

We will be going on a woodland walk after the talk in The Lookout. Unfortunately, the woods are not accessible for those with prams or those using wheelchairs.

To get to the farm you can take the 50 or 51 bus to Keswick crescent and it is a 5-minute walk from there. For those driving to the farm please park in Rydal Close residential car park. To get to the car park please put '23 Rydal Close' into your satnav and turn right once it says you have arrived at your destination. This will get you to the car park and you will see the 'Derriford Community Park,' sign at the far end of the carpark.
