Join the Green Minds project for a walk around the Central Park meadows, learning about the different wildflowers that grow here.
Central Park hosts some beautiful trees and meadows. Join the Green Minds project for a walk around these meadows, learning about the different wildflowers that grow here. You'll also learn more about the exciting work the Project is supporting around the Park.
Please register on Eventbrite so we know you are coming. This event is aimed at Green Minds Apprentices, Project Partners, community groups, and is now open to anyone to book on!
Meeting point: Central Park, near the clocktower and by the Meadow Café, Mayflower Dr, Plymouth PL2 3DG, Plymouth. We suggest arriving around 10.15am.
Parking is available close by at Milehouse Park and Ride, Outland Road, PL2 3DE. If arriving by train, the meeting point is about 20 minutes walk from Plymouth's main station.
Come dressed for the weather, rain or shine! Wear sturdy footwear. We recommend wearing long sleeves and trousers. Please advise us in advance of any allergies e.g. to wasp/bee sting or certain plants (hparr@devonwildlifetrust.org).
If you require refreshments, you can buy food/drink before or after the event at the Meadow café or Life Centre. Toilets are available at both of these locations.
