Nature Digital Badges
Our Green Communities team is leading an exciting project to develop Nature Connectedness digital badges.
Digital badges are fun, free ways of recognising the ways that people have connected with, and done their bit for, nature in Plymouth.
The programme is being developed as a partnership between the Council's Green Communities team and the National Trust, funded by Natural England. The badges have been created along with the expertise of the Nature Connectedness Research Group at the University of Derby and Real Ideas Organisation’s Badge Nation team.
It is hoped that the badges can not only act as an incentive for young people to explore and enjoy nature, but can also provide skills recognition and support potential employability.
So, what can you do with a digital badge? You can:
✅Show your skills
✅Add to CV as proof of activities and events you've taken part in
✅Share on socials to let people know you've been doing good things!
✅Feel proud- you've achieved something brilliant!
