Based at the University of Derby, Miles Richardson carries our research into Nature Connectedness, which you can read more about here.
This latest handbook, recently published, highlights ways and case studies in which nature connection has been nurtured in people's lives. We were thrilled to see that Green Minds features as one of the case studies, as we try to re-define Plymouth's relationship with nature.
As Prof Richardson says: 'The handbook is designed to be used by a wide range of organisations and individuals who have an interest in helping people grow closer to nature and offers an accessible summary of nature connection research and application, a framework and guidance for helping people improve their connection with nature, and examples of activities and initiatives that support and develop nature connection.'
