Creative opportunity alert for young people in Plymouth!

As part of our language of rewilding work, we are teaming up with the University of Plymouth to put together a 'city nature' inspired anthology! The university is asking young people across Plymouth, aged 5-11, to get creative and send through their poems/stories about city nature.

Submissions are now OPEN! Green in the Grey is a creative writing anthology published annually, giving children a chance to see their work in print.

The theme this year is City Nature: finding space in the city for nature and growing both current and new green spaces.

Prompts:

  • My Favourite Park
  • A New Pocket of Nature in the City
  • Rewilding: How I Can Help
  • My Favourite Season

Please send all entries to anthology2023@outlook.com before 28th February with a submission title, name, age, and school (if applicable). Multiple entries are permitted. If submitting artwork, please ensure this is sent as JPEG or higher.

Good Luck!
