Mini Tree Nursery Delivery!
Mini tree nurseries are being set up in Devonport and Keyham, with help from a special delivery from Devon Wildlife Trust!
We recently had a special delivery from Devon Wildlife Trust's 'Saving Devon's Treescapes' project - two mini tree nursery kits! These kits include everything needed to create the ideal conditions to grow trees from seeds and tiny whips.
The two kits will be set up at Keyham Green Places and Hamoaze House in Devonport. The nurseries will be looked after by local residents with support from the Green Communities team. Once the trees grow big enough, it is hoped that they can be planted in carefully selected locations around the neighbourhoods. These trees will ultimately provide homes for wildlife and provide a welcome splash of green for local people!
