Rewilding Network
Across Plymouth individuals, community groups and organisations are taking action to support biodiversity by rewilding grass verges, creating new habitats, planting trees, inspiring connection with nature and much more!
We found that people wanted to connect with each other, learn skills and receive guidance on taking rewilding action. As a result, the 'Plymouth Rewilding Network' was formed through Green Minds. In June 2022, we teamed up with Food Plymouth and Plymouth Octopus Project, who were looking to achieve the same aims of connecting people, mapping action, and supporting growing projects with nature in mind.
This led to the Plymouth Rewilding Network evolving to become known as the ‘Growing with Nature Network’, where we hosted seasonal networking events across Plymouth, as well as provide guidance and training on nature based projects.
What next?
We're pleased to say the Growing with Nature Network will continue, led by Food Plymouth, with support from Plymouth Octopus Project and Green Minds partners at Plymouth City Council and The Data Place! To stay involved with Growing with Nature:
