Snapdragons CIC
Snapdragons Plymouth CIC is a community interest company that is based on the fringe of the beautiful Victoria Park in Plymouth. With nature at its heart, Snapdragons are transforming a disused plot of land into a haven for wildlife- planting hedges and trees as urban corridors.
Snapdragons works closely with the local community, the venue is home to a wide range of other projects – an alternative library, Plymouth Red Tent, Plymouth Woodcraft Folk, a biodynamic and organic garden and allotment, a food coop, wild food and foraging walks, forest school and bushcraft sessions, arts and crafts sessions, music sessions and more. Snapdragons were recipients of a Green Minds social enterprise grant which they have been using to support planting and growing to enhance the biodiversity of the area and to facilitate their nature inspired workshops.
