Plymouth City Council is a large, urban local authority. It has a vision of Plymouth as one of Europe’s most vibrant waterfront cities where an outstanding quality of life is enjoyed by everyone. Our main objective is to create a fairer Plymouth where everyone does their bit. The PCC’s Environment Planning Service is the lead partner for Green Minds. The Service has responsibility for embedding high quality green and blue infrastructure within Plymouth’s growth strategy to maximise benefits for health and wellbeing, supporting community cohesion, increasing biodiversity, building the local economy and climate resilience.

National Trust Logo

The National Trust was founded on the simple and enduring idea that people need historic, beautiful and natural places. They offer us perspective, escape, relaxation and a sense of identity. The natural world also gives us fresh air, clean water and clear seas. Our Saltram estate is a natural playground for people and wildlife within Plymouth. The National Trust will be working with local partners to increase the diversity of nature and communities within this large, urban natural space.
