APSE Parks Innovation Award Winners 2022!
We are very proud to say that Plymouth City Council were winners at the APSE -Association for Public Service Excellence Awards last week!
We were recognised with the Parks Innovation Award 2022 for our use of digital technology with communities to support nature recovery across the city, particularly through our Green Minds project work.
The award recognises the broad range of initiatives and projects using digital technology within communities, to help them to connect to nature: projects such as the Arts University Plymouth augmented reality work, the University of Plymouth & The Data Place Living Labs, and our immersive experiences with Real Ideas Organisation. The award also recognises the work of the Future Parks Accelerator project team, in their development of a Plymouth grass cutting Google Map, alongside Plymouth City Council's Street Services.
A huge congratulations to all Plymouth City Council teams involved, the Future Parks Accelerator project team, and to our partners for this wonderful achievement.
